Originally from Cluses in Haute-Savoie, Abdal’Adhim COSTA immersed himself in the world of perfumery as a child, marking the beginning of an olfactory journey that was to transform his life. A Love Story with Perfume

Abdal’Adhim COSTA’s love affair with perfume began when he was very young. Fascinated by the men’s and women’s perfumes around him, he grew up developing a deep love of good smells. Frequent trips to Portugal immersed him in a world rich in olfactory discoveries. These experiences enabled him to cultivate a genuine interest in the art of perfumery, while remaining inspired by the olfactory memories of the Portuguese landscape.

In 2008, Abdal’Adhim had a decisive encounter with niche perfumery. It was during a visit to a perfumery in Megève that he discovered the iconic Ambre Narguilé by Hermès, a captivating fragrance that left a deep impression on him. This experience awakened in him a burning passion for oriental fragrances, irresistible scents that combine tradition and innovation.

In 2015, Abdal’Adhim embraced Islam, a stage in her life that resonates strongly with her love of perfume. In the Muslim tradition, perfume occupies a special place, even being encouraged for its benefits. For Abdal’Adhim, this spiritual dimension quickly became obvious, linking his personal journey with his passion for perfume.
