Who is Ô Médina Perfumery? Ô Médina Perfumery is a perfume house founded in 2019 by Abdal’Adhim COSTA, a native of Cluses (74) in Haute-Savoie. The world of perfumery opened up to him when he became a Muslim in 2015.

‘I’ve always been attracted by the good smells that surround us on a daily basis, and have been ever since I was a child. As I’m also of Portuguese origin, I’ve had to travel a lot in Portugal, which has enabled me to discover many new scents that have given me fond olfactory memories. Of course, before taking the plunge, I was very passionate about perfume. When I was younger, I started to have my own little collection of perfumes such as Burberry Brit, Jean-Paul Gautier, Eden Park, etc.
The very first niche perfume I smelt that touched me deeply was Ambre Narguilé by Hermes in the perfume boutique in Megève in 2008. So it was years later, when I embraced Islam, that everything came together, because for me, perfume and spirituality go hand in hand’.
